Junior Guinea Pig
Here are a few pics of our girls Violet and Iris. We have had them for 3 weeks, they are slowly getting used to us but it's very frustrating! I have been picking them up by getting them into the fleece tunnel and taking them out and giving them a treat and chatting to them. When they are in their cage they scuttle into their houses and only come out if we sit still for a while but as soon as my toddler speaks or someone moves they run straight back in! I know it's early days but I wonder if they will ever be brave enough to come out and greet me and let me feed them by hand or one day let me pick them up! I'm wondering whether Iris, the black one is a crested guinea pig? I wonder if her hair will grow longer too, their dad was very long haired :-D
