Since being bereaved on new year's eve Annie has had lots of treats and cuddles from me but I know she needed a new friend of her own so I contacted Cavy Corner and visited last week. All I can say is that it is a beautiful, calming and caring rescue and I loved every second of being there, seeing all the lovely piggies. Sue had a particular piggy in mind who could be suitable for Annie and when I met her I loved her right away! Her name is Whisper and I will upload a photo soon, as my one-drive is currently full :(
I brought Whisper home to meet Annie and a few hours later having met on neutral territory (my floor) they had made friends :yahoo:
I can now say they are loving the new chapter in their lives (Annie being the boss) and so am I! Long may it continue.

On a more concerning note, I have had to make an appt for Wilbur to see Ellie the vet tomorrow. I will post an update after that.

Hi!

Cavy Corner is a great rescue, isn't it? Sue has given me the tour on my last trip to Doncaster some years ago after one of her Cavy Corner events (which have unfortunately started to clash with my magazine deadlines, so I had to stop coming).

So glad that Annie is happy with her new friend. Looking forward to the pictures.

All the best with your vet trip.

Yes I totally agree Wiebke. I always leave feeling calm. They no doubt have some horror stories of rescues they have been to, but once there the piggies are loved and cared for while they find their forever homes. They are certainly busy right now.
