You may or may not know, but my guinea pigs run a blog and they have slowly been building up a section called 'a hoomans guide to guinea pigs'

http://hutchagoodlife.wordpress.com/a-hoomans-guide-to-guinea-pigs/

I would really love to get some opinions on the seven existing sections they have created and also some ideas for future and other sections you think might be useful

Thanks for taking the time to help the piggies out, they appreciate it!

:yahoo:As soon as I saw 'hoomans' I immediately knew who it was!
AHH I ADORE YOUR BLOG
It is in my bookmarks and I check everyday, it's helped me so much thank you. Seriously it's amazing

Glad you like it ^_^

Any ideas for other parts that need to be added or things that might be useful? I'm hoping to do a part on different beddings, different hays and maybe different foods too. I thought about potentially doing a piggy myth-busters which I've seen other people discuss before on here awhile back so if people know any myths about piggies please let me know!

I really enjoyed your blog - and gave me some good ideas for boredom breakers that I've not tried yet :)

As for myths the biggest one I come across is that piggies are nocturnal - was recently discussing with a friend my concerns that my new piggy fridge would keep me awake at night to which she imediately replied 'oh, but you'll be used to noise with the guinea pigs' she was quite surprised when I explained they tend to go to sleep when I turn the lights out! (But then she keeps gerbils & is quite set on all rodents are the same - she's learning fast that's not true!)

I apologize if you have mentioned it somewhere, but what about a section on cage set up, where you can explain and compare different beddings and give links to c and c websites :)

Unfortunately my boys aren't in C&C's at the moment but the hope is to give them that when we move house in the Summer. I'm hoping to do an explanation of the whole process from research to building and review it. If anyone has any tips they would be appreciated. My main issue is two of them are total houdini's and I'm pretty sure they would find a way out of anything I built! It's going to take some planning!

I did a whole load of research and working it all out when I was getting my c&c together so feel free to ask any questions or advice when the time comes - hopefully I can be of help :)
