I know I said I wasn't feeling very well and that I was doing the Snugglesafe stuff earlier than usual tonight. Not by much, just a little. I'd've explained that I was feeling unwell because I was an eejit who forgot the juice he was vaping was stronger than his usual juice and I was vaping it at higher watts than I'd recommend for myself, so I'd made the rookie mistake of a mild nicotine overdose, but that would've sailed over your heads anyway.

And I know that for some reason, Cam, you're adamant you haven't been fed all day even though I've watched you eating beans, lettuce and hay. I know that after a while of being on the quiet side (which felt like forever, but was probably less than a few days) that you like the sound of your own shrieks and normally that'd be okay. But it's after 10pm, Cam.

And it's after 10pm and I'm microwaving the Snugglesafes and all I was doing, all I was trying to do, was take some fabric out of the plastic bag wrapper it was in. I was downstairs, sitting on the sofa, and it had occurred to me that was a job I could do part of tonight and then most of tomorrow, sorting out the colours and the types and so on. But it was a plastic sleeve, Cam. Just a plastic sleeve. Certainly nothing that was cause for screaming at the top of your little lungs because you'd heard the rustle of plastic.

But I suppose you made your point, and I brought up a few green beans so I could use one hand to give you and Bann a bean each at once. And then Bann pulled off the greatest magic trick of them all - when you got one bean, Bann managed to grab two and run off with them before you had a chance to even realise it. So I do apologise, Camowen, but Bann managed to steal the show tonight. Maybe that's your penance for being the neighbourhood delinquent :))

I was gonna say Cam hasn't shut up all day but actually that's a lie. I was late with brunch because neither of them made a peep, and yet every hour since, Cam's been at it again. WE'RE HUNGRY FEED US YOU'RE STARVING HOW DARE YOU WE'RE WASTING AWAY TO NOTHING oh lettuce, thanks! I went in at one point with Bann poking his head out of bed and I'm like I know that's not you, since when did you sound like that? Then Cam appeared from the bed closest to my feet. I knew it!

Still. Seeing Bann grab two beans in his mouth and making a run for it is the highlight of my week :))

So many times today. "Guys shut up you're going to annoy the neighbours" "Guys please the neighbours" "Guys, THE NEIGHBOURS". 🤷‍♂️ What can I do, lol.

To think, I was worried they were being so quiet, and then Cam learned, again, that shrieking Summons The Human.

Lexi and Thea would be disappointed, the Goblins are terrible at sharing. :))
 
You know, I thought it might peak at last night. What was there left for Camowen to top it with?

Now I know. He's done this twice so far, and I wasn't sure the first time. I was sure the second time. I went downstairs, put a jacket on, took two empty Pepsi cans and some cardboard from my room to the recycling bins, and flashed a torch up at my windows externally because I keep hearing what sounds like the wind catching something slightly, like maybe a window, but they all looked fine internally. The downstairs ones look fine externally although somebody somewhere probably finds it suspicious I was flashing a torch at the windows, but whatever.

None of this involved me going to the kitchen or dealing with plastic bags. None.

So when the shrieks began upstairs, I knew. Camowen thinks I've been downstairs too long. I go downstairs to procure him food. And I wasn't coming back with the food.

I can't actually say the words I'm mentally calling the smart little...thing...but you probably get the idea. :flag:

He's great though and I love him to bits. It's just a pity about the shrieks, lol.

Also a Shriek is an enemy in Dragon Age: Origins. They're a corrupted form of elf. It's a good description, really.
 
They're definitely comparing notes 😂 It's entirely him too, it's like Bann understands he doesn't need to expend any effort for this to work, which means I still think he's coming out tops in all this. Make Cam and me do all the work, reap the exact same rewards.

Bann is clearly a very clever piggie!
 
Oh Bann can definitely make himself heard, tbh when he starts he's worse than Cam (so if one of them's going to do it, I'm probably better off with Camowen). And Bann gets less vocal when he gets accidentally pinged with whatever food I've just tossed in (broccoli, earlier, he wasn't there until I tossed it and it pinged him on his back. Sorry, Bann. Again).

I got shrieked at earlier because I left my room and didn't come back with food. Except I left my room to take two steps to the bathroom to use the toilet, I didn't even go down the stairs lol.
