Hi all!

As some of you are aware, I got my girls on Friday and they are about a year old. It seems the only things they have been fed is guinea food and apples. :{

Since having them I have been introducing more veg to them, they have had carrots, peppers, cucumber and fresh grass in small portions twice a day all with no problems.

Should I carry on like this, gradually introducing different things, or is there anything else I should be doing? All information gratefully received! (I have several lists here of things they can and cannot have so all clued up on that!)

Thankyou! 6)

Good stuff, just wanted to double check, didn't want to overload them with new things too quickly :x even though them seem to be thriving on it! drool

Thankyou! x

hi,
what your doing is great gradually introduce new fruit and veg and soon your guinea pig will love lots of different fruit and veg. my new guinea pig had only ever eaten carrots and now he likes all sorts. just an idea you could do: record and write down what fruit and veg your pig likes and doesn't like and then you can know not to waste certain fruit and veg.as i said just an idea that i use and comes in handy.

Great idea Penny! I have got a folder with all of my paperwork info for them in so will pop something in there! Have also done this as reference points for my little girls! All good fun this guinea malarky isn't it! :(|) xx
