Hi:)p

i had Zack out today aged 3yrs just over and noticed his hair/skin was a bit dry looking so ive given him a bath i was given him a health check over and noticed he had a few tiny little lumps just under the skin around 5 of them each side in between each nipples (tummy side)and 1 little lump in his groin when i run my finger where the lumps are its a slight bubble wrap feel to it:{ he is pooping fine i am waiting for him to do a wee now so i can see what it looks like but he is eating drinking fine and his weight is 1452g so is a good weight...

i was told by a friend that's its possible mammary tumors but ive never experienced any thing like this before:{:{so dont know what they feel like..

i thought maybe stones but they feel just under the skin not deep down:{ i was also told that you cant feel stones so I'm just unsure in what it could be? he doesnt seem to be in pain with it but doesnt like my pocking his tummy put not many guineas do:)

ive rang AP who said its poss mammary tumors but her has been in the carrier for 2 hours now and still not done a wee if he doesnt wee by 7pm I'm taking him the vets..

there not raised on the skin there under the skin i feel in myself he has some kind of cancer but i so hope I'm wrong:0 he is my baby i feel in love with him the minute he came in....

how long can guineas go with out weeing?

ive just put him in my hospital indoor cage on white towels with some hay and food and he is happley munching awayrolleyes and drinking but still no wee as yet i will keep checking on him and let everyone know WHEN he wee'srolleyesrolleyes

He has done a wee:o:o:o@):(|):(|):(|)
I'm so hoping he will be ok now-c and that the lumps are nothing bad

think we can say a guinea pig can hold its bladder for 7hours and make us turn grey

and he is sitting there munching on cabbage and cucumber looking at me like whats all the fuss about

Awwwwwww Hooray :) Great news :) Maybe see if you can take him to a guinea pig expert vet or rodentologist for a definate acurate diagnosis to put your mind at rest and to see if there is any relevant treatment.
I definately would recommend AP, Vedra, Amir or Karen :)
Maybe see how far it is to see any of these great piggie experts, hopefully not too far :) Love the pictures of you and your piggy :) x
