I have learned that my girls only like red bell pepper. If I find "blood" on the cage liner it is probably juice from said red bell pepper. Teto loves had scratches and air scratches, But not underneath the chin. Tonks loves all scratches. Even if there is an abundance of food they will always try to steal it out of the other ones mouth. Pregnant guinea pigs Will in fact keep growing even if they look like they're about to pop. Guinea pigs are amazing and I love them.

No matter how long you've had your pigs tell me what you've learned from them or about them in the last week

Awwww they are gorgeous!

The main thing I have learned over the past few weeks is how expensive it is when they fall ill and that we will do anything to get them better.

Sending love and healing!

In this last week I have learned that new girl Poppy will now sit in the hay tray and that she will allow the top of her head and side of her cheeks to be rubbed, but not the underneath of her chin; Violet can move at the speed of greased lightning of she thinks Poppy is going to be getting into a fresh cosy that she (Violet) hasn't yet scent marked; Mollie does NOT weigh 1700gms (it was my error in not zeroing the scales); and that little Mabel is not so little any more, weighing in at just under 900gms.

I've learned that things can get a bit lively in the Piggy Palace, when the wifey-pigs smell 'interesting', even if the boar is very old with no nuts :)

A very clever thread title! I keep opening it up and then forgetting what it was about and re-opening it!

What have my guinea pigs taught me in the past week?

Well - really that i am not ready to take on any more animals at the moment. Just before stan got ill, i was researching dog breed. I do want a second dog at some point and had got as far as visiting a lady with her brittanys.

Then stan died and the whole world went a bit topsy turvey!

My whole focus went right off dogs onto pigs and i had all kinds of ideas to get a few new pigs. Luckily i think i have settled back down again because one new pig in the house is enough. He poos for Britain!

So - that's what I've learnt. I'm a one new pet at at time person.

What my Guinea pigs have taught me in these two weeks

Is that my love for them both are unconditional , one of Guinea sadly passed away on Thursday and never felt my heart break so much ( sorry to be emotional )

I have also learned that my surviving Guinea pig Cookie is such a strong surviver that up intil now has been really shy and has now really come out of his shell
