Yesterday, I was at home all day, and there were short spurts of rain every now and then all day. At one point there was a solid 5 minute downpour of very heavy rain, at this point the guinea-pigs were still outside in their run...
Mum suggested that I bring them in because of the weather but I said that it would be fine because they'd be hiding from it in their outdoor boxes...
2 minutes later I look out the window to see Bear sat outside her box in the rain as if it wasn't even there! @) As intelligent as they can be at times, this definately wasn't her smartest move as I then had to bring them both inside and dry her with the hair dryer which she did NOT like at all
I think that their Lunkarya hair is just so thick, wooly and oily that they mustn't be bothered by the rain until it eventually soaks through to their skin, which must take a while. Bless her!
