Hi everyone,

Billy wanted to say Happy New Year to you all - he was a little poorly leading up to Christmas with his thyroid but he is feeling much better now as you can see

His thyroid is a pain but he now has his medicine twice a day instead of once which has given him back his appetite. His jaw (he has TMJ) is on going pain but still being managed with pain relief a year on.

He is an absolute miracle pig as far as I am concerned! I didn't think he would make it past summer never mind into 2017!

Please admire his quiff

Oh my. Quiff and whiskers :luv:. Mr Billy it's lovely to see you looking so perky and tucking into your veggies. Happy New Year :yahoo:

:wub:Ahhh such a handsome fella, glad to hear you're back on track Billy  looks like you have a marvellous salad bar for breakfast, don't let us admiring lot keep you from tucking in :P
continued healing vibes being sent & Welcome to 2017 i hope its a good one for you.

..... can i smoosh his cheeks in that last photo? ..... Pleeeease :D

 thank you - I'm biased I know but I think he's particularly handsome!

The vet still wants to remove his thyroid if I can get his weight up but I'm not sure we will get there. & I don't know how I could put him through it. He was 5 in November!

I was just thinking of billy the other day but was frightened to ask.. I'm so glad to see he's feeling good, that's all we can ask for really isn't it?

Keep doing what you are doing with his medication, if he's happy then I wouldn't be rushing into surgeries either.

Keep going little man x

You know on Christmas Day I thought, I have to take him in I can't keep him if he won't eat he's been through enough - hour later he had cleared his bowl! It's like he heard me! He had his blood checked a few days earlier he had no appetite - the vet said to double the meds & after about 2 days or so the appetite was back. He's even crying for food again.

I just love him. I feel so lucky to have him still, he's a little fighter!

Wow he is so full of character, what a handsome boy! Just showed my husband and he grinned and said one word 'naughty' ( which means he thinks he is gorgeous too!)

If he's as old as that, I don't think I'd go for the surgery. Surely this can be treated with medicines

Such a handsome man! Happy new year to him as well! :)

So lovely to see you doing well Billy. Handsome as ever  So nice to see good news in h&i section. Continued love and vibes x
