Lisajazz
Senior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone!
I wanted to post our new C&C cage! Now I've had some amazing C&C structures over the years (let me know if you want some old photos of them!) but for the last few years I've had shop bought large cage in the house for my 2 skinnies and my other shed pigs have had purpose built huge enclosures. But I got a new piggie last week and wanted to bond her to my skinnies - not that easy of a task as they are both Diva's but hurrah it's looking like we've done it!
She was bonded up with the in a run on the kitchen floor and I had forgotten how anxious a time that can be - watching and listening for hours. I then decided that no matter how much I cleaned it and decked it out differently there was no way I was putting them all in the cage the skinnies had come out of. It was too small and I felt they would be territorial over it. So my lovely husband cobbled together a 3 1/2 x 2 C&C temporary cage while we got the grids to do a 4 x 2 2 storey thing.
Well that was finished last night and everyone has been happy in there ever since. Infact once we got past 24 hours of bonding the skinnies decided to play nice. PHEW!
Here is the cage and the pigs in question anyway..
