I was in Tesco before and they had the little stepping stools in the clearance section- they ended up being 62P
. I had seen so many people on here use them for hideys so I picked one up for in the run (when the grass is finally dry again) .
They had fun with it during clean out time. They hid under it for a while and then got a bit grumpy that they had to share such a 'small' space, so I flipped it up and filled it with a nice thick layer of hay.
They loved climbing in, munching and burying in it. Obviously the stool isn't ideal for a permanent hay tray but it kept them occupied whilst I cleaned them out . I'm now looking at getting a low sided litter tray to use as a hay tray, they have 2 hay racks normally but I think a lower tray will allow Rosie to not have to stretch too much and will be comfier for her
Esme enjoying the hay as the others scarper from the camera!
