A Peacefully Sleeping Piggie

So earlier tonight I went to give my piggies a naughty treat of coriander.

Romano, Sakurai and Ryou ran straight over and I put the coriander in the lower cage and Romano's upper cage bowl. Matthew didn't run out for veg. I knew he had to be sleeping or... worse. I peered in the pigloo and yep, he was heavily sleeping. I took the pigloo off and he was still sleeping, eyes closed. He looked so cute. I rushed downstairs hoping the smell of coriander or my noise wouldn't wake him and grabbed my phone, the nearest camera I could see.

I then recorded this cute footage.

Aww he's so cute. Love the little noises he made when he woke up and realised it was veggy time. :wub:

I know I'm just awful. :)) He's such a heavy sleeper though I knew he'd sleep through it if I didn't. xD

After losing Ludwig my little soul pig I never thought I'd have such a close feeling towards another piggie - I adore them all so much but there's always that one that burrows much deeper- Ludwig is still my little soul mate as he was more of a mummies boar ignoring his cage cage and always wanted to be snuggled with me whereas Matthew just adores everyone, human and piggie alike. But he makes me smile so much. <3
Romano has gotten jealous of Matthew and how much he adores attention and now demands it too. Romano used to be such a shy boy. Matthew really bought him out of his shell. <3

Matthew has so much character. It is so lucky to have an affectionate piggy.

Certainly. I am very blessed. Every day I ask how someone could have dumped him outside the rescue in the small cage with two other piggies. But at the same time I am thankful they did as he is now mine. <3

I totally understand that. That person never deserved him but luckily he is now loved and happy.
