JamiesMum

Not been here in ages because I've been so stressed with work and never get a minute - but just wanted to say that Jamie and rescue mate Max are doing fabulously.

They are OBSESSED with parsley. Jamie has even taught Max how to scream just as loud as he does when he hears any wrappers opening up. It's a right racket when I get home.

Max is also coming out of his shell - far more sociable with me that he was from the beginning. He was a darling when he had his toe nails clipped last week.

They are still in seperate cages because they don't seem to like each other all that much. The cages are next to each other so they can "chat".

Looking forward to setting up a run in the garden when it's warmer.

Anyhoo - hope all are well x

Hi and welcome back. Cant wait to hear more from you around the forum. Lots of lovely new members.

Hi and welcome back!

I am looking forward to pics of your boys! :))

Sorry for the poor photo quality..

Here's Max aka Tufty Head eating his cucumber.

Each time I get Max out he pees on me. Anyone else have this? It's always after about ten minutes - he'll get all comfy then woosh - warm wee soaking through my clothes.

Jamie shoving his face in the camera - he's very sociable is Jamie. He's yet to pee on me *touch wood* (Also please ignore the pringles and dip.)

And Jamie doing a bit of social networking

:))... I now want pringles and dip what have you done. They really are gorgeous x)... I love how hes on the guinea pig forum :)! xx

Oh you - he does like to keep up with current affairs :)

Sorry about the pringles - all I can say is there are definitely less than 90 pringles in that tube now. I always wonder since they announced that there are 90 in each tube if anyone has actually counted them to make sure..... I bet someone with a lot of time has.

Your boys look like a real pair of characters! :))

Thank you Wiebke!

They are just that. I can't believe I never knew how entertaining guinea pigs are.

Hello

hi everyone I'm new to this forum and keeping guinea pigs. weve had maxwell for 2 and a half weeks now, he is still very shy, he always runs away when we go in the room. I'm sure he will get braver soon. I still get him out though and he doent mind being held, he did a funny little noise at me before too, not sure what that meant! anyway hope to get to know you all, and any advice you can offer to make sure maxwell gets everything he needs, would be much appreciated. Thanks Natalie (maxwellsmummy)

Hi Natalie - nice to meet you.

I'm sure Maxwell will settle soon - a lot of love and some parsley seems to work for me - my pair go mad over the stuff.

Any questions you have - the lovely posters here are very helpful and knowledgable. Ask away x

hi, ive discovered maxwells love of parsley too, he also loves pepers and a little bit of orange! hes sat on my shoulder at the moment too, i can hear him making little squeeking noises! he looks like your jamie too! hes cream with bluey grey eyes hes beautiful!

The photos are fab. Jamie is such a hunky chunky little man! His whiskers are fab!

He sounds beautiful! And I bet he's very happy to have you as his new mum x
