Yesterday wasn't a good day for me. I didn't get dressed until 5 pm, which is unheard of for me. I felt really down and hated the fact that I have nothing to look forward to. Today I got up, got dressed, went to little Tesco for piggy veg and came home and started on coursework. After a couple of hours I needed a break, so went for my walk and when I came back I started on the coursework again and I got loads done! I think there is a good chance I can get this module submitted by the start of next week! This is such a good opportunity to get lots of work done, but I've just not been able to concentrate properly, until today! 🙂

Being able to take the time out from something we need to do can make a world of difference. I'm glad today went well for you, you deserve a good day. Good luck with the module!

Thanks! Yesterday, I just had a dark cloud over me all day! I eventually made myself get dressed, as I have never stayed in pj's all day and although I put them back on a few hours later, I needed to make the effort! I don't think Priya, my cat, was very happy with my enthusiasm for my studies though, as I was reading scientific papers to her! 🤣 Eventually she lost patience, pounced on my back and pulled my hair!

Ive has nothing but bad days so far due to my anxiety and Ellen being poorly but you’re right, we need to be kind to ourselves and stick together x
We are all in this together and we will support one another! A friend of mine, who has recently had a breakdown, starts each day with a number of bangles on her left wrist. When something positive (even if only small) happens, during the day, she moves one across onto the other wrist. By the end of the day she normally has quite a few on her right wrist. She says it has really helped her see just how many positive things happen in a day, even when you're feeling down! She says it has really helped with her recovery.

That’s a great idea :) I’m glad it has helped with her recovery
