I haven't posted on the forum for ages, although I have checked out what has been going on, so this is a sad return as we lost our beautiful Ida on April 4th. She had been with us since August 2014 and stole our hearts within minutes of meeting us, including that of her husboar, Dougle. They were a classic case of opposites attracting, really - Ida dignified and content to just watch the world go by, even at run time, and Dougie pop-corning and rumble-strutting like a piggie-possessed! Dougie sometimes managed to go as long as 10 minutes without telling Ida that he loved her. He is a little piggie lost now. RIP beautiful girl.
 
I am so sorry to read this. Massive hugs to you and Dougle. She had a wonderful life with you both, taken far too soon. Keep a close on on Dougle over the next few days, piggies feel loss as we do so expect him to be a little more quiet than usual, but they do get on with surviving, just make sure he is eating okay.

Thank you. Yes, I'm keeping a close eye on Dougie, giving him lots of extra cuddles and making sure he is having all of his favourite veggies. He is quieter than usual, although thankfully eating and drinking OK up to now. He does seem a bit lost without Ida, though.
 
Thank you for that link. No matter what the situation, there always seems to be help on hand on the forum!
