I have had these special squbes in the pipeline for a couple of months now and I finally last week finished them. They are fleece lined with 100% cotton outsides, the fabrics I spotted and being rather pricey because of it being special I wanted to make two squbes up for the boys and also the herd but I had just enough material to make one from each fabric. These are completely one offs, I wont be making any more with the fabrics which is why they are so special.
So what to do with two spare special squbes, well why not use them as a fundraiser for two piggy bank recommended rescues, one sqube for each. But we have a few fundraising threads going on, plus I havent decided on which rescue to donate the raffle money to yet, I am holding off starting the raffle till late nov, early dec.
Until then, I thought I would share the pictures - I may be able to make a 3rd special sqube to offer up as well but presently i dont want to take on too much.
First up, plums on green leaves with green fleece insides
and then tulips on grass with green fleece insides
I love making them and I get to donate at the end of the month to a pb rescue from any sales of the squbes. To be able to donate two (maybe three) is fabulous and I want to make sure I get it right, hence why I am taking time to plan it right.
