Hi everyone!
I was planning to re bond the boys after a few days of the separation but it turned out Clifford had an infection so I had to wait for that clear up. It’s been a bit over two or three Weeks i believe, but the boys will be re introduced tomorrow. Hoping all goes well.

Aw, wishing you all the luck! Come on boys play nicely for your slave!

All the best! Glad that Clifford is well again. Guinea pigs are much more sensitive when it comes to illness, which can cause issues in the hierarchy.

Please conduct a full formal intro on neutral space: Bonding and Interaction: Illustrated social behaviours and bonding dynamics

Make sure that you have a plan B in case they won't get back together. This is not at all uncommon, unfortunately.

The pigs were just put together. A bit of rumble strutting from Leo and humping from both sides. Also a lot of chin rising and teeth chattering but both boys are now eating and Leo let Clifford hump him once which may Be a good sign. Hoping all goes well.

The re bonding went well and the boys are back together in there cage. I re did the whole thing on the inside so it’s very different compared to the original set up. The old one used to be two floors and now it’s one. When we took Clifford out of the play pen Leo was squealing like he wanted him back and begging at the bars. A bit of humping and teeth chattering in the cage but that’s expected.
