It is with great sadness I am posting that Rambo, one of our long term residents and sponsorship piggies, has passed away today. He was a huge piggy (1.8kg!) with an even bigger personality and was loved by everyone who met him. He has had kidney problems recently which were just too much for him and he passed away peacefully in his favourite place, his little wooden house. Rambo will be very much missed by us all here and by all who met him. Thank you to everyone who sponsored Rambo, he would have felt very special knowing how much you cared.

RIP Rambo, I will miss you so much you big lump, run free at the bridge x

Oh no ! I am soooo very sorry 8... 8... 8...

He was a very special piggy indeed. I'm glad he loved his little wooden Rambo house and at least passed somewhere he was happy.

He will never be forgotten,

RIP Rambo - I'm sure you will meet lots of new friends at the bridge,

big hugs

x

I am so sory that you have lost your beautiful big boy and are left with a huge hole in your heart!

RIP Rambo

RIP Rambo. Big hugs to you and all the piggies Joanne.

His big presence and personality will be missed.

Oh my what a lovely chunky boy, I am so sorry you have lost him, it must be devastating do you all.

Rip rambo, sleep well xx

Oh no I am so sorry Joanne, thinking of you x I will treasure the picture & sponsorship form you sent to me when I sponsored him, I'm really sad :(

So very sorry to hear about Rambo, he looked so gorgeous in his photo, his curly little whiskers always made me smile.
Run free over the rainbow bridge big man knowing you were very much loved x>>

Thank you all for your kind words. I have decided to put Rambo's wooden house in my garden of remembrance, where the piggy ashes are scattered, with roses planted around it. It never fails to amaze me how these small beings can touch our hearts in such a huge way. I will miss Rambo a lot, he was my mascot, friend, baby and the reason I continue to do what I do.

Am so sorry you lost your beautiful boy xx

Joanne, we are so sorry for the loss of beautiful Rambo.

Remember how much you do for the piggies, what good lives Rambo and the rescues have with you and take some comfort from that. These little creatures all have their own characters and personalities.... They leave a big gap when they go.

Thinking of you and your loss.

Love, Jo, Tink, Callie, Orla and Hartley x

Many piggies come and go with the Rescues - and we all love every one of them so much - but there will always be "that special one" for each of us!

Jo - I am so very sorry you have lost your very special boy.

Mourn his loss - but also take courage and inspiration from his involvement in shaping your own personal journey.

You did him proud!

God bless darling Rambo - popcorn free at The Bridge.

Hugs lovely lady.

x

I'm so sorry to hear about Rambo. I know he was a very important and well loved part of Milhaven and will be sadly missed by all.
Rest in peace gorgeous big man, run free over the Rainbow Bridge :)

I have the photo keyring on my bag so I could take the handsome Rambo everywhere with me. Popcorn free Rambo knowing you were deeply loved and touched the hearts of even those who had never met but longed to cuddle you.

Oh Joanne, I'm so so sorry to hear about Rambos passing he was indeed a very special piggie.
