Hi does anyone know of a guinea pig vet in the west midlands? My guinea pig has been sick for some time on and off and normal vets can't seem to find out whats wrong with her.

Where in the West Midlands are you?

Have a look at the recommended vets sticky thread at the top of this section; there a few from the West Midlands there.

These vets in the West Midlands come with recommendation:

- Paula Bailey, Warwick: http://www.vetanimalhouse.co.uk

- Acorn Veterinary Centre in Studley

Otherwise ring your nearest rescue centre and ask them which vet they are using. You find a list on the rehome website through a direct link on the bottom of each page.

I use Regent Veterinary group in Coventry.
They are competent, but not specialists; but the best vets in Coventry and used by the local piggie rescue as well. And their prices are fair.

you can try Helen Andrews on 01638 717502,she's from the british association of rodentologists and may know someone your way.

From a pm to me from tillythepig

It may also be worth sending a private message to Debbie (username furryfriends) as she lives in that area and apparently has a wonderful vet :) Good luck.

Debbie's vet is in Northampton, as far as I am aware there are two rodentologists in the West Midlands area.
