The lady I adopted my guinea pigs from came to visit last night.

She had a cuddle with the boyz and just kept saying: "They look so happy. They are so much happier."

It brought a tear to my eye actually... it must be hard to love your pets but know that perhaps they could be getting better care elsewhere. She never neglected them - they were very well looked after - but she was struggling to cope.

Later on she sent me a text saying: "Those pigs have the BEST life. And they clearly adore you."

Thats lovely that she is able to come and see them and good that she has notices a difference in them. :))
 
That has to fill your heart with happiness! Well done. ;)
 
Aww, that is so lovely and she must be really pleased to see her piggies being so happy with you :)
 
Very sweet and I almost did cry myself!

I adopted a pet from someone and went to collect her from his house, he was very sad to see her go, but I wasn't allowed to know why he had to rehome all of his pets. I asked him if he wanted updates on her and pictures and he said no, it would be too hard for him. She is doing well and I like to think she has a happy life here, I hope her original owner knows that in his heart. I nearly cried because I can't show him how loved she is or what she is like now and he will never know. Must be so hard to rehome pets x
 
I think she must be so relief knowing the piggies are loved so much.

It must also take the worry away from knowing how well you are taking care of them.

Well done for providing them with such a wonderful home
