Please remember not to attempt to 'ration' your pampered, overly-demanding, hormonal, throwing-a-wobbler boar to two bowls of pellets filled half way in two areas of the hutch instead of one bowl filled to the brim in one part of the hutch, this will happen:

He will demand that he has one bowl filled to the brim, as two bowls means moving his big bottom downstairs once the top floor bowl has been emptied.
It also means that two bowls will not allow him to dig through the bowl, or upturn the bowl.

You may also find carpet squares from your ramp (see pic above) will be ripped off the stairs, toys thrown all over the floor, and whatever was on the top floor of the hutch now on the bottom.

The culprit or pig in question has a reputation for blocking the exit on the ramp when wanting the food to himself, pushing hay and bedding down the ramp when his cavy slave is late for veggie time and is disgusted with this new approach to feeding and cleaning times:

"In this modern age, it is ridiculous to ask a young boar like myself, to feed from two bowls and in feeding from two bowls restricts myself from being messy. I am very upset over this matter."

As you may tell from the photos above one piggie owner is in the bad books! :))

Hehee thank you i do love my shed :)) the boys really are not happy with me at all today. :o hopefully another serving of sweetcorn might work the trick! :))

My Alfie does that, the little monkey tips his bowl over when he's annoyed or just when he goes off one one being a bit mad.
When I walk in to the shed and he sees me he runs full pelt at his food bowl (like I said a bit mad) I've since changed the bowl to an earthware one which is really hard to tip over.

Ooo i have an earthware one but it's like a cat bowl that i used for a while, i'm thinking of buying a smaller 'piggie sized' one from zooplus as Harvey is just a grumpy pig most of the time lol! :))

If you have a jollys pet store near you they sell a corner food bowl which is quite deep and holds more than enough for 2 piggies, I think it cost me about £2.99, and it has a cool pattern on it too lol

Ooo i don't know but i'll keep my eyes open for one :)) It sounds like a good price too :))

Marvellous! I love it whwne piggies make a stand for their rights!

I George would like to join in the protest. I have previously been made to (deep breath) "share" a bowl of food with my horrible brother who thankfully has moved out.
No guinea pig should be expected to share, especially not half portions.
Piggies around the country unite and tip those bowls!!

Hilarious, I thnk Honey may want to join in as she keep tipping the food bowls up too.

Haha! Oh my Harvey's trashed the place before having a temper tantrum, mine have ceramic bowls though, but he has rupped the carpet from the ramp, up turned his pigloo and tossed the blankies about. Obviously somthing in the name ;)

My piggies must be really good boys. They never tip their bowl over. They do drag it over spots they deem too dirty though. xD

AWWW - you always make me laugh! Thank you; I needed one!

I have given up on bowls altogether as mine either tip them over or poop in them!
