...So we have been to the vets, AGAIN!

The vet wants to do another urine test, this time or Cushings Disease.

Anyone have any experience with this?!

I just noticed that thread, after posting this thread mallethead:))

Currently have William sat on cotton wool waiting for wee time!

I'd advise them to call the labs - we phoned the main labs in the UK including the Vet DICK and Cambridge no one knows what the Cortisol levels should be in a Guinea Pig the only way to get a diagnosis is an ultrasound - you must get the sizes of the adrenal glands and compare them to a comparison pig. The ultrasound was inconclusive for me - the vet doing the ultrasound hadn't did a guinea pig so that could have been a factor. My next stage is an expert in Exoctics at the Vet Dick but I haven't followed though yet.

Thank you for this - William has had an ultrasound but not for the adrenal glands, so I will talk to the vet when I next see them about the glands.

Maybe I just found my dissertation project!
