I can finally write this though it's still painful and I'm crying my eyes out.
Mr M aka Manky, you were such a special boy given such an unflattering name by the teenage step daughter of my b.i.l when she bought you on a whim with Wallace. To us you were the most incredibly handsome and friendly piglet ( we loved your endless wibbling and piggy kisses and cuddles).
We only had you for just over a year after we adopted you before you became ill. I look back and my heart is filled with "if onlys", if only we'd had you with us for longer, if only we'd known what we know now, if only we'd had the vets we have now.
I miss you so much my darling boy, it's a year today that we lost you but the pain and hole in my heart tells me that it was yesterday. Sleep well my darling, Wally Whiskers and Yoshi have joined you and I miss all of my boys so much. 8... Tonight we will be lighting lots of candles at Rainbow bridge time.

What a lovely tribute. I can see how much you loved him and how special he was and still is. I am so sorry for all the pain you are feeling and wish I could take it away.
 
Huge (((hugs))) for you, it will be Poppy's anniversary on Wednesday so I know how you feel, it still feels like yesterday, the pain never goes but time makes it less raw :( x
 
That made me well up. The anniversary's are painful, you lost so many the past year. Mr M was a very handsome piggie. *huge hugs*

What a beautiful boy! He will always have a very special place in your heart.

Sadly, we can never go back, only carry forward what our past piggies have taught us to the benefit of those who come afterwards. That is the best legacy we can give those who have passed - not to let the love that they have given us every single day of their life wither and die, but to pass it on and keep it alive!
 
I'm so sorry Andrea.

His pictures are lovely and have completely captured what a very special little character Mr Manky was - especially with that mischevious sparkle in his eye - clearly a little "snogger".

Hope you are enjoying The Bridge Mr M together with your compadres.

Hugs to those you have left behind on this, the first anniversary of your journey, especially to Andrea. You're completely right Hun about the hole they leave in our hearts.

A year has passed Manky but your mummy still misses you so very very much 8...8...8... you'll always be in her heart and thoughts...... now your friends have come to join you, whee bet that you, Wally and Yoshi are having a wonderful time popcorning around and nibbling on long lush blades of green spaghetti and sweet carrot tops.
