So a year after losing my angels I've finally felt able to go through the photos and videos.

I've sorted them all into folders and backed everything up on disc so I know my memories are safe.

People who know me here understand the intense trauma I went through losing the last two rescues - Jemima and Casran (the Princess and my Little Lion).

I've felt I'd never get over losing them but actually found I had a smile on my face today looking at all the pictures.

Here are some memories of the Princess and my Little Lion:

Lovely to see you @TheAurora. It's bittersweet looking at the photos of our Rainbow Bridge Piggies but I'm so glad that you can now look at pics of your beauties and smile. They brought such happiness to you and also other forum members. It's great to remember them at their finest best xx

We've missed you, good to see you again. I fully understand about needing some time, feel free to pop on for a chat any time :)xx

I remember the chaos Casran caused by going on rampages and always being the piggy that was in the way :)) That book he nibbled at and when he stared at the wall on the wrong side of the cage at feeding time. All great memories :luv: xx

Wow, how amazing that you remember all that! You've brought a tear to my eye. I know, he was a silly little sausage!

This was the day of the fight over whether the book or Casran had ownership of my lap!

I had a soft spot for him  Such a gorgeous piggy who caused chaos as well, happy memories :luv:
I'm assuming Casran won the fight for the ownership of your lap? :)) x

That made me laugh @TheAurora Casran must have been quite a character!

Hi @Betsy

He was, bless him.

Their little lives were cut short by what we think was congenital heart condition complicated/leading to viral/flu pneumonia. I fought so hard to save them.

Sometimes I just feel so angry they were taken from me, at other times I just feel so lucky they ever came into my life.

I was so lucky to know them!

It's great to see you again. You have been missed.

I remember your beautiful piggies and and everything that you went through.

My Emma sadly has terminal cancer so we are treating each day as it comes. So far, she is doing very well and we are making lots of memories like you did with Casran but I know it will hurt like hell when we do eventually lose her :(

I hope that you stick around xx

P.s... @Betsy Casran loved having his photo taken as we mad for a selfie (Jemima was a bit shy)! Here's us:

These are my chilled out girls Meg, Betsy and Velvet.

Velvet is Mum to Meg, Christian and Dennis who were a surprise shop litter. We couldn't give them away they are such lovely piggies each with their own unique personalities. So we kept them all. The boys have been neutered and they all live together as one big happy family!
