we have a local Rabbit and Guinea pig show coming up on thursday OMG its tommorow.i dont even know what theye do at these shows but cant wait anyway.its my first event with anything to do with piggies


Sorry i had to shout it out and when i tell my freinds theye always say AND!
 
you have me misunderstood it aint like crufts that sort of show where people make there animals look ridiculous and put ribbons in ther hair etc.Its from our local rescue centre theye have tombola etc and theye put the pigs out hence why i said show maybe next time i should think before posting.theye do it to get them adopted quicker etc and all money raised goes to the pigs and rabbits for food hay etc and other rehoming costs.

Maybe next time i should choose my words more carefully Sorry
 
Thanks for clarifying that! As this is a sensitive subject, it is always better to be extra clear about these things. Like I always mention that my Llewi is neutered with all his girls...

I hope that you will really enjoy it! I have been to some local open rescue days and have always enjoyed them very much! It's great to chat with piggy people in person and admire all those piggies in the rescue (and have the usual fight with your conscience, because you want to take home ALL of them!)
 
That sounds so fun. :) I wish there were some guinea pigs rescues near where I live, even a few hours away, but there are none that I know of :(

quite scared though cos theye have ferrets up for adoption aswell.i had a incident with one as a child.

and I'm just going ot go in straight to the piggies have a quick peek at them.get dragged out by the gf do my fundraising bit then come home like a good little boy with no piggies because i have enough apparently
 
thanks.i always say i would love a litter form my winston as he is gorgeus but i never would time and patience is all i need there will be another little winston lookalike out there and when i see him/her she will be coming home with me.

trust me i have a gf who is very experienced in the art of distracting me or dragging me away from the pigs/rabbits.only this morning she said to me as she went to work i dont want flowers or chocolates when i come home cos you aint getting one.she Knows me far to well i hadnt even mentioned the event to her since we found out about it yesterday
