Aaand I Have A Biter!

Not in the malicious sense, or the scared sense. In the "your clothes are delicious food and you're just not aware of it" sense.

Blitzen is not a lap pig. This is okay. But when you hold him he scrambles up to your shoulder. Then starts attempting to eat your shirt/jacket. You know how they drag a carrot to themselves and lift it up as they eat it? Imagine that, but at your shoulder instead.

Give him a piece of yummy hay and he'll switch to that til it's finished, then he goes right back to the shoulder. Yes, he's broken my skin a few times but that's because it got in the way, not because he was trying to.

I'm wondering if this was the reason he was available for adoption. I can't imagine this behaviour endearing him to kids or their parents. Kind of sad tbh. He's not a bad pig. Just really intent on making a meal out of my jacket.

(so far, the jacket is winning!)
 
haha I have one like this. She has never bitten me hard or left marks but she will "test" clothing or skin with her teeth just in case its food
 
He never tries jeans or anything. It's always jackets and shirts.

haha the favourite for mine is a finger or the zip on my fleece :))
 
Stripey is of CEst with seeing whether you can eat it or not and that includes me my headset my jacket my jumpers he's been three holes in three jumpers since I got him on Wednesday he's just a little Terra silly piggy
He's even more food orientated than Choc is and I didn't think that was possible until you came along
 
archie loves to bite, all the different types of biting, and his own type where he will get tiny bits of skin and eat them.

Snowy loves biting zips. Nothing else, although he will lick my nostril thoroughly, and he will test my finger with his teeth, but he doesn't leave marks or anything.

Smudge chews my fleece zipper too, and she loves licking my nostril, chin, cheek, fingers and hand, and occasionally my arm. Any exposed skin really.

Poppy licks a finger. Just that. She's too dignified to lick anywhere else.
 
I have a clothes nibbler and a full on biter (it's always just after I have hand fed her something yum and she mistakes my finger for food). I have many tiny holes in my tops and many band aids on my fingers. Gotta stop wearing the good tops and hand feeding them treats. Going off now to add new tops and a box of band aids to my xmas list!
 
One of mine is a biter to. (Naughty Joey!) he doesn't seem to like celery or carrots... only my flesh! I hope that it's only since he's little, and he'll grow out of it.
 
Mr Darcy bit my boob once when I was cutting his nails, the . Mr Rochester just likes to attack and bite my sweeping brush when I'm cleaning up his poops! He charges at it, its so funny to watch! :D
 
Ours bite if they think we're food, or if they get scared or are having their nails trimmed. Duncan is a serious clothes biter, pulls at my top. I often wish they could speak English:P
