We lost Abigail this afternoon, we have no idea what happened one minute she was fine. The next we're on the phone trying to find an open vet. She died either in the car or at the Vet reception. All I can grateful of is I was there when it happened but I can't believe she's gone. I had just calmed down now in tears as I write this.

She was the perfect companion for Rory, put up with his rumble and tushy and was basically the trousers of the relationship. Maggie and Rory seem okay, a little quiet and are looking for her. I think they'll be just fine no matter what.

I'm so glad I was able to give her a home while her past owners abandoned her and at the Rescue no one wanted her because of her eye colour. She was such a laid back beautiful piggie and I am going to miss her little face so much, and her cheeky personality whenever I tried to catch her for cuddles or to put out in the run. Pop corn over my beauty! There are plenty of other piggies to keep you company. There's a place in my heart where you will always be.

I just wish I could of had you for longer and taken more photos. The ones I have now are precious enough and I'll have you back next week.

I love you so much and so does Robert (because you were his secret favourite)

Oh no Jess, what a sudden awful shock :( She was a lovely piggy a real stunner with a big pigsonality. Love to you and Robert, she had a wonderful life with her friends and Mum & Dad. Huge Hugs x

Thanks guys, it means a lot it really does. I to never thought I would lose one of my piggies so young. Struggled to sleep last night because I kept seeing the moment when she possibly left us. I just hope she didn't suffer at the time.
 
Ohhh I'm so sorry to hear you lost Abigail :( At least she had a wonderful home with you and knew she was loved. Popcorn free beautiful girl xx

I am so sorry for losing your beautiful girl so unexpectedly! While you have the (scant) consolation that she hasn't suffered much, a sudden, unexpected death is much harder for you to deal with as you cannot brace for it and it leaves you reeling. :(

At least Rory and Maggie have each other to console, even though it will take them a while to get over their loss and the re-establishment of a new hierarchy.
 
Sorry to hear about poor little Abigail, she was very beautiful. Hugs for strength to you & I hope you can sleep better tonight. RIP beautiful piggy x
