So today I used soap during bathing. After I wash my hands for a few seconds under shower nozzle. I went to use liquid soap to wash my hands. Will the soap be appearing again. Because I kinda doubt there is something in the water bottle. But my hands are not slippery. And I don't see anything in the bottle. It is transparent water. I washed my hands before cleaning the water bottle. Will it be able to enter the water bottle. Because I heard the soap is Alkaline. Is it fine if I rinse the bottle tomorrow? Will it be there forever? I don't wanna hurt my guinea pigs. Please Help!

Will the whole bottle and inside become Alkaline?
Your water bottle will be fine and it will not become alkaline.
The soap will not transfer from your hands to the water bottle once they have been rinsed.
Your water bottle is perfectly safe to use, and will not harm your guinea pigs.

It is always fine to ask questions on the Forum, but we would love to hear a story or anecdote about your guinea pigs sometime.
Do you have a story or photo of them you would like to share.
It would be great to get to know more about your guinea pigs.

Please think rationally when it comes to soapy water. Thousands upon thousands of people around the world are daily using soapy water to wash water bottles for themselves and their pets. If there were a risk it would be very well documented by now.
