Hi,

I haven't been on here for a long time. I think people will remember me as Silly. I just wanted to post The successful operation I had with regards to my Guinea Ruby. Sadly Titch had to be put to sleep In April due to repetitive bladder stones then Ruby got a terrible abscess, reluctantly I left her in September at the vets for her op and I'm so glad I did she survived the op with a massive scar and is now doing so well, she was on antibiotics for two weeks post op. She's nearly five now. It's been a hard year losing my Mam and Titch and my daughter going to live away but wanted to reassure anyone about the op if their Guinea has an abscess. I have a nosy at photos on here every now and then my favourite was Billy Pamelakts Guinea.

Aww lovely colours and very unusual. It's nerve wracking you must be pleased especially when you drop them off and their pen is empty. The antibiotics were never ending, I got told to give them just as a precaution but it was amazing how the skin knitted and then after a few weeks the stitches disappeared. How old is your Guinea?

Thank you. She loves laying in hay sometimes drags scraps of fleece and makes a little pillow with it, she dragged this to her bed.
