Acaricidal Environmental Agent anyone?

My vet advised me to get some of these, specifically one for guinea pigs. I'm going to try pets at home unless one of you guys knows of anywhere online?

Well my boar has just been diagnosed with mites and the vet told me I could get it from a pet shop. I can't seem to find this stuff. It's to treat his hutch with to help make the mites go away. Kind of disinfectant which kills mites I guess.

I've never heard of that before - think mites are usually on the piggy more than in the hutch cos they don't always affect other piggies living with them in the same hutch.:{ Did he treat the piggy with ivermectin to get rid of the mites? ?/

I hadn't either, but he said to use it on the hutch to ensure I kill everything. I only have a Johnsons general small pet disinfectant. I'm going to get the Johnsons small pet mite spray tonight from the pet shop and spray that in the hutch after cleaning it.

Yup ivermectin too. And Chrissy from Gorgeous Guineas kindly suggested some aloe vera gel if the area looks sore.
