Junior Guinea Pig
Can I get some opinions on trios of male guinea pigs? Do they ever work? Is adding a third guinea pig to a pair that has been together for a couple of months too risky?

Way too risky, alot of members ask here and get the same replys. I only know of one member on here that has 2 boars in the same herd that actually works. Dont risky ruining the bond you already have working, you could end up with 3 solo pigs. Would be a nightmare
Definitely too risky - it is incredibly rare for anything more than a pair of boars to work . Don’t ever do anything to upset the bond of a pair of boars. If you want more piggies, then a separate pair is the best way to go about that.
