Hey,
Well i best start from the top otherwise it will make no sense haha. I have three female guineapigs called evie, pom and gem. Evie and gem are sisters and are 22months old. Pom is a guineapig I later added to the group she is 17 months old. After succesfully bonding these three and having space for more as the space i have is a piggy shed with a running space they can use 24/7. I went and brought home what I thought was a female guineapig they bonded fine until I noticed that she was a he! So suprise suprise the pet shop had made a mistake. My first concern was where the girls pregnant and you all came rushing to my side to help luckily the girls aren't pregnant. So Mr fizz is now 6 months old and he is neutered and has just finished his quarantine period of 8 weeks. For the 8 week quarantine period mr fizz was staying in the shed space at one end in a double storey hutch so to give him enough space. :D When i was bringing the piggies in the house for laptime I was allowing fizz to be near the girls as I could watch over them and observe them. The leader of the female heard Gem started some teeth chattering towards him and tried to fight him :( So I started being concerned about bringing them back together. So today was the big day as me and AudioHeart( Guineapig forum member) gave all the pigies a bonding bath and we cleaned all there living quarters in the shed and mixed it up so it was new to each piggy. The bath went well and we observed them for a half an hour period and they seemed fine just the odd teeth chattering and going for each other to sort out pecking order. So it seems so far so good :) I have started this post to update on my story etc so I can gain experience off other guineapig owners whom have experienced the same thing :D Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated :D I just know the next couple of weeks will be abit turbulent wondering if they will bond as one herd :S Thanks again for reading :D x
