Junior Guinea Pig
We have been across to see Ros at chapel rescue today, and Lola has come home with TWO new friends, think my hubby would have preferred just one but it a big softie really who knows when he's beat !
The girls seem to be getting on really well together so far.
Unfortunately I ended up taking 2 elderly boys across with me - one of the mum's from school saw our piggies in the living room and offered me her 2 boys because 'the children aren't really bothered with them any more !' - she was just going to put them on free-ads to get rid of them ! Luckily she was more than happy for me to take them off her hands and across to a rescue, where at least they will be able to live out the rest of their lives (they are 6 ) being well cared for - they had had them for 4 years and still thought that it was ok to just get rid. I feel really cross with her, even my other half (not a big animal person) was muttering about teaching her children responsility etc
