Hi,
I'm looking into getting another pair of piggies, but my cage is only a 3 by 3 with a 1 by 2 loft- not very big! I was thinking I could add a 2 by 3 basement level, or do a 1 by 3 addition on the same floor, which would make the main floor, minus loft, 4 by 4. That would be five feet by five feet, so 25 sq ft. I think that would be plenty for four or five pigs, right? Or would the basement be a better choice for it, even though it would involve another ramp? Also, I'm adding fleece today as bedding. How do you layer it? I was planning on doing the fleece and two layers of towels, then paper towels underneath that. The loft will be wood shavings.

Also, my pigs LOVE to potty in the pigloo. I was thinking I could do a coro divider in one corner of the cage, an inch or so high, and put bedding there with the pigloo, for easy daily cleanup. Thoughts?
