Adoption

Hello everyone,

I am keen to adopt 2 young females. I have two boars who i sadly had to seperate as they were fighting. I have two cages (well will by the end of this week!)
I really dont like my boys being on their own its not fair, hence why i want to adopt. So I'm putting this out there if any one knows of 2 females for rehoming please let me know. I live in North West London and do have a car so can travel a distance.
The trouble i am having is finding a neutered female! If they have already been neutered i can take them straight away you see, otherwise i have to wait until i have enough money to pay for my boys (about £100 for pair of them =(! ) and then another 4 weeks after that?

Anyway if any body can think of some piggies in need of a loving home please let me know!

Also does anyone have advice on how to introduce a sow and a boar so that they dont fight also?

It is very unlikely you will find neutered sows as it is a very invasive and risky operation usually only undertaken if it is medically necesary.
It is more usual to neuter the male to go in with females.

Thats very true i didnt think about that really. I would imagine i will have to get my boys done first.
Have you any advice on how to introduce them?
