My guinea pig is fast asleep in my arms... so cute! Do your guinea pigs sleep on you? Do they lick you? If I come to the cage Shura will come to me and lick my finger. How do your pigs greet you?
 
My guinea pig licks me all the time, specially just after I have put some new hay in his hay rack for him.
Yeah my piggies fall asleep on me sometimes, usually when they are wrapped up in a towel :smitten:
so cutee. They even sleep through me taking photos lol.
 
When my piggies greet me Amber sqeeks at the top of her voice and her little ears move with the force its soooooo cute! :smitten:
They all come up to the cage door to meet me!
 
Aw it's sooo cute when they do that, our rabbit used to give lots of kisses. However the only piggie to do this so far is little Rosie who's only 8 weeks and we've only had her 10 days, but she is so tame already. If I put her down on the sofa and walk away she squeaks like a little baby till I pick her up again! :smitten: :smitten:

my boys run to the cage and squeak their heads off when they hear anyone coming up the stairs, and when they hear my door open i dont think they are greeting me though, i think they are yelling for food ;D or to see what ive got them! lol

gucci and miss piggy my first every pigs about 5 years ago slept on me for hours without needing to pee that was really cute, shakey will settle and sleep but dukes a bit nosey so cant really sit still for long..and my girls tend to be a bit nosey too lol
 
Aww!

When I sit at the coffe table I put Shura on the couch and Hriusha on the table with me and I'm inbetween. Whereever I move Shura has to be right behind me on the couch. If I get up to get something, he tries to follow me and will go as far as he can. Hriusha is a bit shyer but we got him at 1 year 8 months. Now he's 2 1/2.

Both my pigs have to be seperate... they like each other through the bars of the cage it seems.. but I am too nervous to put them together. They used to fight and I let their faces meet. Shura is 3 and Hriusha is 2 1/2. I'm just nervous that they'll fight... but I wish they could play together :'( Any ideas?

Also, what are some really fun things to do with guinea pigs? I worry that Shura is bored... he seems sleepy today. Any ideas why they might sleep by their water bottles?

Our Sully (RIP baby) loved to snuggle he's just lay there and be loved eventually he's decide to move onto your lap otherwise you could have him up by your neck for ages mmm i loved it. Duke is different if he's in the mood it's ok if not he'll just climb straight back down you to sit in your lap or even to get off you, mind you he can be the snuggliest piggie too LOL he loves it in the morning when i feed him i kiss his ears and he talks to me :smitten: :smitten:
 
Acorah is always licking my fingers, her mum and brothers do too. She also falls asleep on me a lot although she protests to being picked up sometimes (She loves running on my bedroom floor oh so much) in fact she's falling asleep on my legs. My bums goig numb sat on the edge of my bed but I don't want to disturb her.

neo/pop (still trying to find a name for them all) licks my hand and when he's on the couch he pushes himself into your side to feel safe :smitten:
but the other two (10 months, got them at 6) refuse to sit still or be wrapped up
they follow you around on the floor sniffing the air so yo can see their cute little mouths :smitten:
 
That is so sweet! And the feeling is absolutely priceless.

I've had some guinea pigs that have fallen asleep on me and licked me. However, because I'm a rescue and I can have 20+ at any given time, it's hard to hold them all enough to get them to trust me. Even if I spend hours holding them when I get home I either don't hold them long enough or don't hold enough of them. I just can't win ::)

Awww I wish! Mine never really sits still when I hold him, he's gotten better though =]

I don't want to be the annoying guinea pig rescue girl so I'm just going to quickly mention that guinea pigs do better in pairs and be done with it ;) ;D O0

Two of my guineas are like teenagers, one minute they want you to hold them , the next they don't and the other one was born, is and always will be a drama queen, when you pick her up I don't know why but she has to scream. :smitten:
