Can a young female and an adult female live together in peace?

I have Daisy (3 yrs old) living very happily with Candy (15 wks old).I don't know of any reason why adult and baby sows can't live together. :)

i have 10 week olds living in with my adult sow and they all get along fine, just have to make sure younger ones get food, the adults can be a bit greedy >:D

Oh! That reminds me! My young piggies are eating an alfalfa based pellet (Mazuri) Shouldn't adult cavy's be on a Timothy based pellet?
If you're keeping an adult and a youngin together how do you make sure they all get the proper nutrition?

I have a herd of 15 soon to be 18 girls all in one hugh run and they get along brillaintly the bigger the room they have the easier it is, none of my girls ever fight, next week marley goes back in the herd with her 2 daughters Ava and Edie

The way that I do it is to have them eat plain pellets and then put the hay in with them. You can put in both Alfalfa hay and Timothy hay and it will work just fine. The only reason they couldn't live together is because they fight, so as long as they get along well it's perfectly ok.
