So, I went and brought some Advantage 40 for the pigs, believing it to have a really good success rate with lice. I read the leaflet and then decided to check it out once more online - only to discover it now contains an unsafe IGR  (screen cap from guinealynx)

Bummer! So if anyone has any, I'd suggest not using it!
Back to the Ivermectin drawing-board lol!

in the uk it is still just imidicloprid only, the one with all the ingredients in in the uk is called advocate, this is not to be used on guinea pigs.ive used advantage in the last 6 months and it is safe.also stronghold for cats is used for parasites in the uk,but you need a prescription.hope this helps.
