Just browsing Adtrader and come accross this ad,I bet every sow is preggy :-\
Why do people do this then pass the problem onto someone else >:(

FAMILY OF GUINEA PIGS 6 sows 12 months old, 2 young boars, 9 and 10 months old, 2 x16 week old guinea pigs, 3 x 6 weeks old, all tri coloured, all clean and healthy, £65 the lot,or - (neadt-28-6185)*

I saw that advert, I also saw one that advertised two pregnant females and a boar. The person wanted £10 each for the pigs. Makes me sick

I have seen ads like this and the ones that say a great breeding pair, what kind of people do they think are gonna take these piggies not ones that are gonna love them :(

Good god  :( And I bet they are inbred to high heaven  :( :( We all know where they will end up! P@H or another equally as ******* ignorent pet store! >:( >:( >:( >:(

poor things :'( makes me soooo cross. they should soooo not keep animals, they obviously don't love them and just keep them as money making breeding machines. F****** idiots. :'(

I need to stop looking on there too. Locally to me there's a rabbit and guinea pig pair. I'm looking for a rabbit at the moment but don't have room for another piggy. Sorely tempted to take them because their hutch looks just... urgh.

could get them and then rehome the piggy, I am terrible for looking on those things and when they are free it makes me mad :tickedoff:

I know, I stop myself from looking because I just get angry and rant >:( I just don't understand how people can let this happen to their animals then just palm them off, and to be as cheeky as to ask for money?!

poor things, that hutch is in an awful condition. :'( they shouldn't keep a piggie and a bun together either. :(

do you think we should get the address as if someones coming to buy them and inform the rspca? :-\

I saw the advert to, including another few colse to me inc the free to good home female, bless her. I should stop looking as it's hard to say njo to those poor animals needing homes, can't take everyone in though :'(

That hutch is minging,What must that piggys coat be like living in that filth >:(

Here's the ad... http://www.adtrader.co.uk/detail/frameset.php?aid=214720&class_id=183

Is it just me or does it look like there's about a foot of crap in front of the hutch?

The only problem is I wouldn't be willing to pay for them... wonder if they'd be willing to negotiate?

I think the idea about contacting them and offering to donate the money to say Thistle Cavies (who they can see on the internet) would be a great idea, it also spreads the rescue word so is something positive in my opinion. A lot of people don't know about rescue (still!) maybe one day they'd mention it to someone else...

I phoned after an indoor cage & when I asked if it was still available & what size it turns out a rabbit was included . No mention in the advert just cage & accessories I assume the rabbit came under accessories :o
