Hiya,

Well today I saw a little piggy in the Pets at Home adoption section-i enquired and was told he was 8months old and the owner had said she could'nt keep him anymore. Also he had been living with a rabbit.
Well I had to have him,as he is a gorgeous boy and I knew I could throughly spoil him :(|) . I do already have 2 bonded boars who I got from a rescue but my question is...Should I get the little chap a mate? and how easy would it be to bond them if I got a baby piggy?

Many Thanks

Bonding boars is certainly possible but make sure you do your research well rather than buying a baby and hoping for the best. The best scenario would be to find out if you could take the little chap to your local rescue and try him with some of their single boars as the space will be neutral.

Being 8 months is more of a tricky age due to hormones kicking in, maybe a baby boar or an older boar. Get to know his personality first as a dominant rumbly boar is better with a placid boar and vice versa.

Good luck and piccies please!
