Hello,

The past couple of days Harvey has been mounting Blake lots! I'm not sure if it's because spring is in the air, but poor Blake doesn't get much peace. :red

Normally they get on fine, and Harv might try and prove his dominance from time to time but when I got home from work yesterday poor Blake looked really fed up and Harvey was at it for a good hour or so! I even got them both out for cuddles and a break but the minute they went back in the cage Harvey was back to old tricks!:x

Do you think it's becuase of spring being on the way or are there any other reasons?!

Thank you

How old are your boys? They tend to have the big hormones/macho phase at about 4 months starting which can last until they are fully grown; but even adult boars can get frisky for a day or two.

You are past the worst, however, flare-ups can still happen.

If absolutely necessary, separate for a few hours and reintroduce on neutral ground.

Hey Hannahbelle, i have two boys who are 2 years old and they have been living together since October 2008 with no problems, but on sunday night Joey the dominant one started to mount/hump Gizmo, this lasted for a few hours and he humped Gizmo about 12 times! But it only lasted for a few hours and now they are back to normal.

I think that he had a rush of hormones as he has never done this before, but like i said they are fine now and are back to normal. I'm sure its the same with your boys and hopefully it will settle down soon. :)
