Ok, so both my pigs- Lily and Lola, are now at the stage of letting me give them a good massage/ stoke and feed veg or hay from me (from hand). So, I have firstly tried for the past few days to start attempting to pick up Lily. I could pick them up before (this was before without trust, and with my friend watching me), when you pick them up Lily turns into a duck from Swan lake and flaps her feet around like mad whilst just above the ground; and eventually, I loose grip because of all the movement in my little hands! So my problem is, once I've got them in my hands as they wriggle so much, I fear what Lily will do once I've got her on my lap, will she run off? Start climbing? Move around my lap a little? 'Or do you think it's better if I do the 'Support bottom and legs' whilst they're vertical to my chest- would there be more hope of Lily not jumping around?'

I've tried the 'towel trick', and wrapping them in it; but I loose grip because as I lift them out, they wriggle out.

Advice please!

Get a cosy like a pyramid bed, once in its easy to collect them in and its only got one entrance to cover.. Once on your lap if they are extreme sit on the floor so they cant fall off too high and keep your hands round them, use food as a bribery.
