Rocky is having the cyst removed under GA on Wedneday.

I imagine after surgery I need to be sure there is no infection, and that Rocky eats as soon as possible. I am going to put him on his own in a hutch I think, with vetbed and a cuddle cup. Is there anything else I should do?

You've got it all covered love i reckon O0
Yes have his own munchies ready as soon as he wakes up i always pack their own fav foods for them to give him :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

He may benefit from a heat pad or hot water bottle in the cage which he can either sit on or ignore as anaesthetic can make them very cold afterwards.

Have plenty of his favourite treats and some critical care/science recovery incase he is slow to get eating. I always give mine metatone for 5 days after an op too to speed up healing and recovery.

Rocky has a much more severe hair cut these days ;D

Kate suggested metatone - how much should I give him?

The vets rang up today and said that Emmie - who has been looking after Rocky - wouldn't be in theatre after all on Weds and the senior partner would be doing the list. Was that OK? I said yes, as I have Tues, Weds off and Thurs morning off this wheek and have got all geared up for it. I mentioned that Rocky had another two cysts - one under the chin and one by the nipple, and she said they would have a look at those too.

Poor Rocky.

Oh i didn't realise there were more >:( >:(

Dear Rocky we know you'll be fine sweet one :smitten:, paws crossed for you O0, i bet once again you'll have the staff at the vets drooling over you :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
