I'm getting all excited about summer - although, sure it's a long long way away!
My piggies are indoor piggies and they always will be - doesn't mean they can't have some outdoor frolics though! hehe.

So I have several questions:

- Around what time do people start putting piggies outside? If not a time, what temperature does it need to be?

- I have a really big balcony - but it's concrete, no grass - anyone been able to make their balconies piggie friendly?

- As they have never had grass - what's the best approach to getting them used to it?

My idea is, come summer at the weekends, I will be taking them to either Regents Park or Hamsptead Heath in London - they have a travel home that you can take the bottom out of, with sun protection on top. They also have two foldable pens.

Then of course, when I'm back home up North, they can enjoy my Mum's lovely big garden!

None of my piggies will be left unattended at anytime outside! Threats would be; dogs at the park, foxes & cats in my Mum's garden - a foldable pen is not secure enough (I might get a foldable wooden one that's more secure for my Mum's house), my balcony is secure but my next door neighbours have a cat and it's a bit noisy out there, although Manny and Floyd are Central London piggies & have grown up with it. I would be with them the whole time though - not going to drop them off at the park and collect them later, haha!

So whatever bits and bobs I need I will start stocking up on in preparation :)
xx
