I am getting 2 piggies tomorrow from a girl my friend works with. They are supposed to be 2 girls but the girl announced to my friend on thursday "they're gay, one's humping the other." My friend did tell her it was a dominance issue & asked was she sure they're 2 girls "Oh yes the petshop sexed them" ::) My friend said she was sure the girl didn't want them (from the way she spoke about them) & asked if i wanted them if she didn't.
Without thinking i said yes! My heart ruled my head ;)
These 2 piggies are apparantly referred to as "the pigs" tho' they do have names, they're approx 2 months old - she hasn't had them for a month yet & is bored with them. :o
Apparantly she wanted a dog but lives in a flat so got 2 guineas instead! The girl rang me today, thanked me in advance for having them & is bringing them tomorrow afternoon with their cage etc

I'm hoping they will join Howie & Bijou but with my luck introducing piggies who knows.

Which would be the best (space wise) for 4 piggies as altho' i have a spare 10ft hutch outside i'd like them to stay indoors now i've experienced the delights of having indoor piggies ;D

a 2 storey hutch; each level measures 48" long x 22" deep with a loft area measuring 18" long x 22" deep OR

a 3 storey C & C; each level measures 38" long x 20" deep OR is neither suitable for 4 piggies?

They both sound great to me. If I had to choose I would go with the 2 story, simply because guinea pigs ltypically ike to run more than climb. Good luck with the piggies, can't wait to hear and see more!
