Advice On Alfalfa King Timothy Hay

hi was just wondering if you guys had tried this hay? I’ve just picked some up today as my boys are very fussy about their hay. so far they are loving it! I was wondering is this hay ok to feed daily as I’ve heard it’s not?

Will post a pic of the bag of hay so everyone knows which one I’m going on about

My boys get it daily. It's confusing as the brand is Alfalfa King but this one is actually all Timothy Hay (they do an Alfalfa hay too).

My boys love it and it's nice and green.

I do find I waste a handful or two from the bottom each time as it's quite dusty at the bottom but I've found that's usually the case with all hays.

I’ve avoided that hay because I thought it contained alfalfa but might try it.
I like to give the girls a variety of different hays.

@Merab's Slave The Timothy hay is a red bag and the Alfalfa one is a yellow bag.

It is a really silly choice to call your company by a brand name of a different hay. It's like of Tea Pigs only sold coffee!

Trouble is I need reading glasses and I czn’t Be bothered to change my specs when shopping so I can’t read the labels properly.

Thankyou yeah I saw a post saying it shouldn’t be fed daily as it’s got Alfa in but the ingredients say 100% Timothy hay so I’m going to feed daily along with a softer Timothy hay for burrowing and bedding

I recently bought some to tempt a guinea pig I’ve taken in with dental issues to eat hay.She seems to like it although won’t eat much.My other pigs have always loved it.

My piggies love it! Everytime I put a fresh batch in, they start squeeking and go straight to it and start munching down. I trust this hay very much, since it is about 80% of their diet!
