Dose anyone have any advice on how I get Pippa to lose some weight?!
She's one of the rescue piggies I got erlia on this year, and was this size when I got her!
She has a run around on the garden regularly so she's not stuck inside a hutch, she lives with Matty & I only put one food bowl in so their not eating too much, I also feed them on selective so they can't pick etc but she still seems huge!

First, I would take all high sugar items from her diet. This includes most fruits, carrots & piggy snacks. What weight is she & how old :) x

It will depend on what weight she actually is... And some pigs are just BIG! If she lives with others then perhaps feeding her separately so you know what she is having might help.

Piggie aerobics. Occasionally me and Vimto do aerobics together to try and get her to lose weight. This consists of me taking the water buffalo out of the cage and attempting to get her to free range. In response she goes waddling off till she reaches the chair and flops underneath it.

I did try cutting the food. The others lost weight she continued to gain. Seriously though it is worth seeing the vet if you are worried. Vimto is huge 1.5 kg but our vet has reassured us that she is not overweight just big boned.
