well i notice when i put a piggy with a friend they come right out of there shell and seem to so much happier. well Dudley is on his own at the moment and i have no little boar to go with him. Do you think him and Lincoln could have run time supervised? i wouldnt let them live together as Lincoln likes his own space but could they have a run together or would they fight/upset eachother?

Should i be looking for a friend for Dudley now? or should i wait till his settled more? i just feel he looks so lonely as he was with loads of piggies before.

thanks

Some boars are happy to share run time but don't want to live together - have you tried them? Trouble is that if they're tetchy with each other, they go through the whole dominance process every time you put them together again, usually... so it might be quite stressful for the less dominant one. I would have thought both would be best with a live-in friend

i would love to do that but dont have the room for another c&c :( Lincoln and Dudley are in the kitchen so i can see them from the living room. Would a young boar be best for Dudley?

hi i have teeth chattering all the time between my boars and usually if you watch them and steal there focus when they are starting to get angry i have found it helps stop fights i would definantly get Dudley a young boar to befriend:) has lincoln got a friend at all? xxxxx

Good luck!

Try a local rescue with several boars so you can "road test" Dudley for the one he interacts best with!
