Hi, can anyone give any advice with regard to fungal problems. My guinea pigs are fine and dont have any symptoms that I can see but I am developing sore lesions on my hands after handling them and after cleaning the cages despite wearing gloves when cleaning. I'm not sure what the risks are but these are very sore despite being quite small inflamed skin lesions. I think they look fungal and will be grateful for any advice.

Hi, I only wear the gloves while cleaning the cages but I dont think its latex allergy as I use gloves at work most of the day and have done for many years without any problem. I will try using latex free just in case. I definately think its something I'm picking up from the boys though and someone asked if I had guinea pigs when I showed it to them. They are so beautiful so I cant stop cuddles for them, I was hoping there may be something gentle I could treat them with and get something from boots or the doc for myself at the same time.
