Hi there,

Looking for a bit of advice. One of our girls, Millie, appears to have a sore front right front foot. She is limping when she walks and when standing is not putting any pressure on it. She doesn't seem to be distressed by it, and is eating/drinking normally and even still begs for her veggies!

I had a wee look at her foot and can't see anything there. Any ideas as to what might of happened? Is it worth a trip to the vets to get it checked out?

Thanks
Lyndsay

It sounds like a strain or twisted joint of some kind. Please be aware that the leg ends up in the shoulder joint and that the problem can sit higher up.

If she isn't too bothered, I would leave it; hopefully, she'll be better again in a few days. If you notice a swelling somwhere, I would see a vet.

That's great thanks. Will keep a wee eye on her over the next few days. As I say, she doesn't seem bothered by it at the moment.

Lynds x
